Manitoba's first peach orchard
From two newly planted peach trees in 2015, to now over 30 fruit trees and counting.
Peaches available usually from mid August through to early September as nature allows.
Sold at Van der Meer Garden Centre, located in Île-des-Chênes, seven minutes south east of Winnipeg along Highway 59. More varieties of fruit may become available in future years.

Peaches? In Manitoba?
Yes! This started as a passion project in 2015 and has grown to include three different varieties of peach trees, warmer climate plums, apples, pears, and even kiwi! Peaches, and soon nectarines make up the majority of the fruit on the farm.
Are these organic?
No.
Synthetic fertilizers are used. The orchard is hand weeded. Physical barriers and predator insects are used to combat insect pests.
